※ (Scope of metropolitan hiring) This policy is being implemented step by step in 6 metropolitan areas to expand fully the employment opportunities for regional talents and hiring by public agencies.

Hiring Objectives Approach

  • To make sure applicants who are not regional talents are not held at a disadvantage if the share of regional talents in the pool of hired people is below the predetermined objective ratio, the shortfall in regional talents will be made up through additional hires
Total target # of hires: 100 persons, Total # of qualified hires: 103 persons (Hirees who are regional talents: 21 persons, Hirees who are not regional talents: 79 persons), +3 Additional Hires

Hiring Objectives

  • Considering the fact that huge disparities may exist in hiring levels among agencies, and that the qualifications of regional talents may vary to a great degree, the policy will be implemented gradually until 2022 so that all agencies could meet the hiring objective ratio of 30%
